The holiday season is upon us, so now is the time to start planning how you’re going to spend it. Although the holidays are going to look a little bit different this year, there are still several COVID-friendly events happening in and around Surrey.

One such event is Glow Gardens in the neighbouring city of Langley. This year, Glow Gardens is hosting a Drive-Through Light Journey at the Milner Village Garden Centre right in Langley City. This contactless journey is completely safe as visitors will remain in their own vehicles for the entirety of the event. 

Over the course of the experience, visitors will marvel at the dazzling landscapes, lit up for the holiday season. Over one million lights were used to bring this festive show to life. The route will take roughly 15 minutes to cruise through. 

What else can you expect from the Glow Garden drive-through event? Santa’s elves will be there to greet you as you drive through the gate, and they will even be handing out pre-packaging snacks. (Every vehicle pass includes a complimentary bag of mini donuts and popcorn, as well as a souvenir Glow Christmas tree ornament.)

Cars are encouraged to switch their radios to GLOW FM, their exclusive holiday radio station. Different landscapes that you’ll drive through include a 100 foot animated light tunnel, a glacial foyer, a three-storey twinkling tree, and holiday princesses. Best of all, Santa will be making an appearance every single night. While kids won’t be able to sit on his lap per usual, they will be able to wave and say hello from their car windows.

Further, given that it’s taking place at a garden centre, the plant of the season (poinsettias), along with LED glow cups will be available for purchase, though they must be purchased in advance along with your admission ticket. 

Glow Gardens’ Holiday Light Drive-Through Experience is on from November 26 until January 2.
